Nancy m&rsquo;a contact\u00e9e en ce d\u00e9but d&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, elle appr\u00e9ciait mon style d&rsquo;illustration, nous avons \u00e9chang\u00e9 par mail, nous avons bien accroch\u00e9 et nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser ce projet ensemble. I&rsquo;m back today to share with you the creative process and the result of my collaboration with Nancy Henrion, interior designer and founder of NH decoration. Nancy contacted me early this year, she liked my illustration style, we exchanged emails, we get along well and we decided to realize this project together. Le premier personnage est le r\u00e9sultat de nos tout premiers \u00e9changes, en effet elle souhaitait quelque chose qui puisse refl\u00e9ter son caract\u00e8re, ainsi que son m\u00e9tier de d\u00e9coratrice d&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur qui n&rsquo;h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 mettre la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te lorsque il le faut. Je lui ai propos\u00e9, pour le deuxi\u00e8me personnage, quelque chose qui ressemble plus \u00e0 son style, telle que ses clients et ses collaborateurs peuvent la voir au quotidien. Nancy a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 la deuxi\u00e8me proposition, apr\u00e8s quelques ajustements de couleurs et d&rsquo;accessoires, j&rsquo;\u00e9tais pr\u00eate pour r\u00e9aliser la colorisation.<\/p>\n<p><em>First and foremost, Nancy wanted me to realize a character in her likeness. The first character is the result of our very first exchanges, in fact she wanted something that would reflect her character and her interior decorator profession that does not hesitate to lay hands dirty when necessary. I suggested for the second character, something that looks more like her style, such as customers and collaborators can see her in everyday life. Nancy chose the second proposal, after some adjustments of colors and accessories, I was ready to realize the colorization.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Le D\u00e9cor \/ <em>The decor<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nancy m&rsquo;a fourni des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences d&rsquo;objets de d\u00e9coration qui m&rsquo;ont permis de r\u00e9aliser un premier croquis pour cr\u00e9er un d\u00e9cor dans lequel nous pourrions placer son personnage.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nancy provided me with references of decorative objects which enabled me to make a first rough sketch to create a setting in which we could place her character.<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1433 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/annalubinski.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/anna-lubinski-nancy-henrion-nh-decoration-decor-personnage.jpg\" alt=\"anna-lubinski-nancy-henrion-nh-decoration-decor-personnage\" width=\"500\" height=\"351\" srcset=\"https:\/\/annalubinski.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/anna-lubinski-nancy-henrion-nh-decoration-decor-personnage.jpg 500w, https:\/\/annalubinski.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/anna-lubinski-nancy-henrion-nh-decoration-decor-personnage-300x211.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 94vw, 500px\" \/>Apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9 toutes les modifications demand\u00e9es par Nancy et valid\u00e9 le deuxi\u00e8me croquis, j&rsquo;ai de nouveau attaqu\u00e9 la colorisation.
